My name is Leesha, and my husband is David. We started joking about creating a business together quickly after we started dating. We’d envision the type of businesses we could have, and it always seemed unlikely—just a fun little escape from reality.

I’m a dreamer, and he’s an innovator. His mind is always going, the wheels are always turning, and my mind always conjures up hopes for the future. I guess that makes us a pretty good team.

Like many others, we want to be our own bosses. But even more, we want to share a cool idea with the world. And we don’t want to stop at just one idea.

We see 3D printing as a business with a lot of avenues. Most business models will tell you to choose your niche, but we have too many possibilities to limit ourselves to just one.

Maybe learning to do things differently comes naturally because we’ve had to do so in our personal lives.

Either way, we don’t fit a specific mold or grouping, so why would our business model either?
